Twitter vs. Facebook - The Championship Social Networking Bout

There has been much debate recently regarding the benefits of using Twitter vs. Facebook for online business development. I think both tools serve different needs. I use Twitter (@RyanColesy) for sharing interesting content immediately. I actually disabled my Facebook account recently because I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with the way my content was being handled.

Anyone want to share their experiences with Twitter and Facebook for Business Networking?

I think Facebook is very useful, but it's not easy for certain kinds of brands to get much traction there. We have a Fan page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bizmanualz/39752124669), but the F-book audience isn't really our target customer, so it's been difficult to garner many fans. Twitter (@bizmanualz), however, is more immediate and you can connect with people in virtually any niche audience. I think both are valuable depending on what's important to you.

I just started Facebook and haven't used it much. Not in Twitter yet. So am not able to compare at this time. Should use Facebook more so I can have better coments.

I think Facebook is great for connecting with friends, twitter is more of a business tool in my humble opinion.
